1. Prescription-Only Medicines (POM)
Under local regulations enforced by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), certain drugs can only be dispensed upon receipt of a valid prescription signed by a registered medical practitioner. These products are marked clearly as **POM** inside our shop catalog.
2. Verification Process
Once you upload a prescription image/PDF during checkout, our clinical pharmacists review it to verify its authenticity, date, dose compatibility, and doctor credentials. We may contact you or the issuing doctor/clinic to clarify prescription details.
3. Refusal to Dispense
HandCare reserves the right to refuse to dispense medications if the prescription appears altered, illegible, expired, or if dispensing the product poses a therapeutic risk to the patient. In such events, we will notify you and refund any payments.
